The name Terminalia comes from the Latin word “terminus,” meaning a meeting point, a crossing, a place where one journey ends and another begins. Inspired by the Roman god Terminus, Terminalia takes its name from the idea of a boundary and a meeting point, where journeys, places, and possibilities come together. For us, it reflects the essence of what we do every day: helping people connect across Spain and Azerbaijan with clarity, confidence, and genuine support.

Founded in Barcelona in 2022, Terminalia was created to build a closer, more modern and purposeful connection between the two countries. Our aim is to provide people, institutions and businesses with a trusted platform to discover new opportunities between Spain and Azerbaijan.
Behind Terminalia are years of experience built since 2015 through the Azerbaijani Society in Barcelona (ASB) and Casa Azerbaiyán, two initiatives dedicated to building community and cultural connections in Barcelona. This journey has given us a genuine understanding of both countries, their cultures, everyday life and, above all, their people.
Azerbaijan remains relatively undiscovered in Spain, despite everything it has to offer through its culture, nature, gastronomy, contemporary lifestyle, investment and business opportunities. One of Terminalia’s key ambitions is to present a more modern and authentic side of Azerbaijan in Spain, bringing its possibilities closer to Spanish travelers, companies, students and institutions.
Today, our work is based between Barcelona and Baku, supported by a growing network of partners across both countries. Terminalia is more than a service company. We are a contemporary platform bringing together lifestyles, cultures, people, ideas and opportunities between Spain and Azerbaijan.
We believe that a real connection begins before a journey, an educational program or a business meeting. It starts with curiosity, an authentic perspective and the feeling that another country is no longer distant, but familiar.
