The name Terminalia comes from the Latin word “terminus,” meaning a meeting point, a crossing, a place where one journey ends and another begins. Inspired by the Roman god Terminus, Terminalia takes its name from the idea of a boundary and a meeting point, where journeys, places, and possibilities come together. For us, it reflects the essence of what we do every day: helping people connect across Spain and Azerbaijan with clarity, confidence, and genuine support.

Founded in Barcelona in 2022, it was created to build a trusted bridge between the two countries and to open new paths for people, institutions, and ideas to move across borders with purpose.
Behind Terminalia stands more than a decade of experience shaped by the Azerbaijani Society in Barcelona (ASB) and Casa Azerbaiyán, two initiatives that have been building community and cultural connection in Barcelona since 2015. Through that experience, we have supported students, professionals, families, entrepreneurs, and travelers, while learning how important trust, cultural understanding, and honest guidance really are.
Over the years, we have seen how easily people can be misled by agencies that promise a lot, charge too much, and offer very little once the payment is made. Terminalia was created as a different kind of answer more transparent, more reliable, and more human from the first conversation to the final arrival.
Today, our work is based between Barcelona and Baku and supported by a growing network of partners and representatives across Spain and Azerbaijan. But beyond services, Terminalia is also a way of looking at both countries: through lifestyle, culture, daily life, travel moods, local perspectives, and the small details that help people understand a place more deeply.
We believe that real connection starts before any trip, program, or business plan. It starts with curiosity, trust, and the feeling that another country is no longer distant, but familiar.
